  NETSCREW GUIDE: Port Inspection & Process Termination ("n <PORT>", n k")
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

INSPECTING A SPECIFIC PORT:
  Run n p . <PORT> (e.g. n p . 8080) to get instant deep-dive diagnostics:
  • IANA Service name (e.g. "http-alt", "postgresql")
  • Exact process name, executable binary path, PID, and running user
  • Docker container name, image, and container status if containerized
  • Active listening state and socket queues (Recv-Q / Send-Q)

TERMINATING PORT CONFLICTS:
  Run n k <PORT> (e.g. n k 3000) when a zombie node/python/go process holds a port:
  1. Identifies the PID hogging the port.
  2. Displays process name and prompts for safe user confirmation [y/N].
  3. Sends graceful SIGTERM to allow clean shutdown.
  4. If process fails to terminate within 3 seconds, escalates to SIGKILL.
